Pasarela de Almunecar

The walkway is a U-shaped trough beam built in Acciona's R+D+i Technology Centre workshops. It has large dimensions, a length of 43 meters, a width of 5 meters and a depth of 1.2 meters, which, in 2011, made it the world's longest walkway built in carbon fibre! This achievement has won numerous awards including the JEC Award for Innovation in Composite Materials (2012 “Civil engineering” category).
